tonight at the floor show: I do the musical theater tag!!!
1. first musical you ever saw?
if i was gonna for the first musical i saw on DVD or video i would have to say Oliver for video and marry Poppins for DVD but theater wise saw the Lion king in London with my school in year 7. It was amazing, i just loved how colorful and energetic it was. Also as i knew the story because i am such a huge Disney nerd, so it was easy to follow.
2. Favorite musical growing up?
Mine changes far to often but i would have to say the 2 most constant are les misarables and The sound of music. They have been in my top 4 for years now.
3. where you ever in a musical?
No unfortianly i have had minor roles in natrivitys and school plays but never in an actual musical as for one my voice was 3000times more pitchy as a child and I was never involved in any Drama clubs because i was an anitysocail child who didn't like big group activitys.
4. first musical you say on boardway/ the west end?
The Lion King.
5. If you could be any female character in a musical who would you be and why?
As a kid i would have said maria as i love the sound of music or Mary Poppins because Julie Andrews is my queen, but i think now i would like to be Angelica from Hamilton. I have listened to the sound track and her songs are my favorite. She is so selfless but sassy and i just love her. My close second would be Gilda (wicked) or Wednesday Adams (the Addams family musical) which is a very strange combination.
6.Which male character?
Fagin because i used to practice i am reviewing the situation a kid, because i am normal. my other two runner ups Amus heart (Chicago), mainly because i love singing Mr cellophane and i have my own dance routine to it, or Burt (Marry Poppins) because i wanna dance with penguins damn it.
7. favorite musical to sing in the shower?
weirdly i do sing Ava maria from sister act a lot in the shower but i think the one i sing most is wash that man right out of my hair from south Pacific because it just fits.
8.Favorite theater actress?
Carrier hopefletcher she was so so so good in Chitty, when i went to see it.
9.actour?
Gernimo rauch, i have only ever seen him in Phantom of the Oprah but he was an amazing Eric.
10. Favorite movie adaptation?
Les Misarable, i have never seen the real stage show so for me the musical is the show as i love it, i watch it far to often.
11. most underated musical?
Heathers, its like scream queens meets the every 80's high school chic flick. what is not to love!
12. over rated musicals?
The king and I. i like parts of this one but i feel some parts are unnecessary and dull. i also did not really feel wowed by Annie but that is mainly because i found teh actress annoying.
14.musicals that made you cry?
Phantom of the Oprah, and les misarable, becasue that ish is sad.
15. Musicals you saw and hated?
I have not come a cross one i completely hate yet.
16.a musical you would like to see as a film?
wicked, i would love to see all the effects and have a copy of the show to watch any time at home.
17.which musical are you dieing to see?
Anistaisa mostly!! i loved that film as a kid but i also want to see, Hamiliton (i only have the sound track and a plot summery) and La La land which my friends have introduced me to. (its an up coming film, i wanna make a hole post on it when its out).
18. a book to turn in to a musical?
I would quite like to see Weathering hights, because i like the book, it has an interesting story line, and they would already have one song to put in it. or (and i know this is kind of already a musical) the hunch back of notre dame in live action because i am obsessed with cartoons art style and color plate, plus creepy church music is my jam.
19.( add in) favorite musical to watch at Christmas?
scrooge the musical, AKA the best version of a Christmas carol... minus the Muppets.

This was such a fun read. I 100% approve of your choices for number 5 - such great characters. And I am also dying to see La La Land, it looks so good! GingerSnaps xxx
